Our little herd consists of experienced riders, well-resourced enthusiasts, and big-hearted horsemen and women.

Here's the Crew.

Our team has been together in this unique business of blending horses and hospitality for almost a decade. Anchored by great network of friends, family, and fellow equestrians, we have experience in just about every discipline including western pleasure and rodeo, hunters, trail riding, and natural horsemanship. Here are the characters that you'll see on the farm most often these days.

Rachel Erin

Rachel got her start with horses as a 3rd grader, when she got the chance to muck stalls in exchange for riding lessons on a horse named Scooby. She loves playing hostess-with-the-mostess at Stillwater Stables from the helm of her marketing firm, Stillwater Collective.

Scott Stangeland

Scott grew up in Iowa and Illinois, so he's a natural equipment junkie and we're happy for it. When he's not giving a spontaneous tractor-driving lessons or "working" at his "real job", he's repairing, grooming, or otherwise making things look and work perfectly.

Bri Hartwig

We are lucky to have Bri Hartwig as Field Coordinator. Bri is equally at home with horses as she is with hosting, and she can handle our brides as well as she handles a bridle. She's a local treasure and huge asset to the Stillwater experience.

But it's not just Us. 

Our veterinarians at Hadley Hill Equine are located less than 5 minutes from the farm. We also get help from Chris LaBrie, our farrier, and lots of talented trainers and clinicians. We are deeply grateful for a merry-go-round of family that are always helping out plus happy horse lovers and horse owners like you.
