Artist Statement: Wintertime in the Midwest. Short days, long shadows. Bitter cold, and warmth within. A time where the external world is frozen and still, granting us the permission to retreat within ourselves to reflect and prepare for growth. So that when we find spring has returned, we may emerge in synchrony with the new life sprouting around us.
