Artist Statement: While they may be purchased separately, 'Clover Babies' (which you can find in another listing on this site) and 'Sanctuary,' are a paired two-print set of original linocut prints. 'Sanctuary' features a frog inside a tree hole from which mushrooms are growing. 'Sanctuary' is based on an actual photograph taken on a Michigan hike.'Clover Babies' is of two baby rabbits in a clover patch, huddled together. Prints are from hand-carved blocks, and each linocut is printed by hand, numbered in a limited edition, and signed.
