Artist Statement: An impressive edit of a woman being consumed by the darkness of a life-sized pupil. Seemingly almost enveloped in the darkness, the woman’s face appears emotionless but her hands hint at exasperation. This is a rather reclusive approach to a “Retreat” theme, but I felt it fit well. She’s retreating, clinging to the absence of light.
